Saturday afternoon at the park.
We went downtown Calgary to enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon in September. We had a great time, playing in the water by the river, trying out the park and strolling down the paths. I love to watch Cade and Hayden together. He is such an amazing Dad, and Hayden adores him! It is the way it should be.
Little children are a gift to us from Heaven above. The other day Hayden and I were wrestling and he got a little rough. When I said ouch that hurts mom, he came over said "sorry mommy" reverently placed his hands on my head and said "I pray mom". This simple act brought tears to my eyes!

First hair cut
August Hayden had his first hair cut! Cade would be the one to take him in. I reminded Cade to take the camera, he looked at me with a puzzled look and said "oh is this a big deal?" YA!!!!
Hayden did a great job, he wasn't so sure about the whole thing, but sat very still anyway! When he got home he was very proud of himself!
They brought home, pictures, a certificate and a tuff of hair! As always Cade did a spectacular job even though he didn't understand why a haircut was such a big deal!

Moving pains
We have moved once again. I'll start at the beginning. Last February, after couples prayer Cade looked at me and said "oh oh" He told me he felt like we'd be moving. I had also felt that impression after a personal prayer a few days earlier. We didn't know when or where, this spring Cade received a job offer at Dynawinch industries. They build wireline trucks for the oilfield. Head office is in the South East corner of Calgary. It was a 45 min drive one way, as we discussed things we came to the realization that this was the move we needed to make. Even though we loved our house, neighborhood, ward, the temple was only 2 min away, school, the list goes on, we also felt strongly that the Lord wanted us to move. WE began our preparations, cleaning, sorting and de-cluttering the house, finding a new place to live, etc. It came down to the wire but we found a great house in a great neighbourhood and today was our first day in our new ward.
I'm so thankful for the gift of the spirit that can lead us on paths we may never go otherwise.
