Imitation is the best form of flattery!

Hayden imitated me for the very first time yesterday morning as we were driving Courtney to school. He was in the backseat clicking his tongue, so I followed him for a bit. Then I thought I would change it up and I blew a raspberry, he DID IT TOO! then we clicked and blew raspberries for a few more min! It was so much fun! I love being a mom!

Mothers Day my most favorite reason to slack off!

This mothers day was a great Cade, Courtney and Hayden, let me sleep in late, they made me a scrumptious breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs and fruit. I got a card, and a beautiful potted daisy. Durring Church I was set apart as the second councellor in the relief society. Wow what a daunting task. After church, Cade cooked supper,then Courtney cleaned up, and Cade put Hayden to bed. Angie and Dylan left me a message on the phone earlier in the day. It was a nice relaxing day. On Tuesday the young women gave us pedicure's. Courtney also made me a picture frame with our picture in it! I'mso thankful for my family!

So last Monday for Family Home Evening, my husband challenged us all to write in our Journals once a day, even if it's only one line, for the whole week. Well here it is...um Friday and it's my first entry.
Hayden got sick this week. His first real cold and boy was it a doozie!!
JR and Ian (Cade's brothers) Have been staying with us as the guys have been working together for the week. Doing some work for their dad, and also painting Orrin's house before they move.
Angie had big news this week. She's PREGNANT! wow! Both her and Britney (Dylan's Girlfriend) are expecting a few months apart. Can you believe it I'm gonna be a grandma?!?!?
Courtney went a temple trip today. I'm so thankful for her sweet spirit. I'm very thankful for all my wonderful children. I'm so very blessed. Not to mention I have the best husband in the whole world!!!

April comes in like a lion

Yesterday, April8, 2010 as Courtney and I were getting ready to leave for track practice (outdoor practice) It started to rain....then sleet....then snow....then blow, and within 30 min the deck was covered in white stuff and the front yard looked like a white-out in the arctic!!
This morning the sun is shining but the roads are a sheet of ice, yuck!

Well, I can't believe that I'm a blogger...... well sort of. We are supposed to keep a record for future generations and I USED to do good. This is my new attempt. I haven't really wrote in my Journal in a few years, and I have many, many things to record for future posterity. I will go back in time for a while in order to cover lost ground.
I will start by saying I'm the mother of 4 wonderful children. Angie age 21, Dylan age 17, Courtney age 14, and Hayden age 9 months. I have the most wonderful husband on the earth. He is very hard working and loving and a great dad.
I'm a stay at home mom and I'm really enjoying it.
